How to delete your account
Before you delete: your GalaxyGo Wallet balance must be $0. Wallet credit is closed-loop store credit, so for your protection an account with a remaining balance can't be deleted — please spend any remaining balance first, then delete your account.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the GalaxyGo app and sign in.
- Tap Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and deletion is processed.
Option 2 — By email
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will verify that you own the account and process your request within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove the personal information associated with it, including:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your login credentials and profile photo
- Saved delivery addresses and delivery instructions
- Order history and in-app messages tied to your account
- Saved preferences and settings
- Your GalaxyGo Wallet and its settings (your balance must already be $0 before you can delete — see above)
We do not store full payment card numbers; card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are removed according to its policies.
What we keep, and for how long
To meet U.S. legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations, we retain a limited set of transaction records — such as order, payment, and tax records — for up to 7 years, consistent with Section 6 of our Privacy Policy. These records are retained in a limited or anonymized form and are not used to contact you or identify you for any other purpose. After the retention period, they are deleted or anonymized.
